If you could go on a caravanning holiday with one currently living person, one dead person, and a fictional character, who would you choose and why?
I love hypothetical questions because the answers are always hypothetical as well. (Don't ask. That was an argument we had in one of my philosophy classes a long time ago.) Living person I'd choose my best friend. We've been through a lot together and it takes a lot for either of us to get on our nerves. We always have a ton of fun when we're together doing things and we see eye to eye on pretty much everything. Plus it helps that we'd probably (definitely) want to see all the same sights. Dead person I'd choose Randy Rhoads. He's an idol to both of us, and I'd love to get inside his head and pick it apart. To spend however long with him on holiday would be an amazing experience; it's just too bad it'll never happen. Fictional character I'd have to go with Harry Potter. As cheesy as it sounds, when I read through the books, I identified with him (on his personality traits) more than anything else, even though we're actually quite different. It's really weird, but I connected pretty deeply with Harry when I read the books. Plus it'd be sweet to have some magic around us. ...
Dean, you're keeping me here with this question, man. Living person: Lauren Graham, I wonder if I'd last a day with her around or eternity. Dead person: Kurt Vonnegut, he radiates knowledge. Fictional character: Holden Caulfield, dare I say greatest character in a book ever? Like Will, I do also indentify with my fictional character quite a bit.
Man, this took me a while to think about. Living person My brother. We've never been close due to our huge age difference, but lately we talk way more and it feels really good. It would be nice to have him around more. Dead person Nicholas Flamel, or maybe he's still alive . I've taken great interest in him lately and I would like to know what was truly written in The Codex, why he and his wife were so rich and healthy when they came back to Paris after their long journey through Europe to find out more about The Codex. I would also like to know why his body isn't in his grave. And ofcourse, I would ask him all about the philosopher's stone. Fictional Character Chandler Bing, hands down. With him it'd be one fun caravan trip! Easily my favorite tv character of all time.
I'm actually still thinking of mine. I've thought of a few joke combinations, like Virginia Woolf and Boris Johnson together as the dead person and living person respectively.
I was wondering if you'd pick him, I'm glad you didn't though, it would have made me look like an ass. xD
Living: Erm, none of my friends because they would piss the hell out of me. Actually, maybe Gina because she can cook And she is easy to talk to. Dead: I dunno, someone smart maybe? No idea for that one, I'll have to come back and edit my post later. Fictional: Edward Cullen, so he can dazzle me
Living person my cousin Hunny..she rocks.. Dead person Joan of Arc....she was amazing...a 17 year old & leadin a whole army? Fictional person Jughead from the cartoon Archies weird mysteries
Living: JD. Dead: Adolf Hitler. It'd be....interesting (no, I'm not a neo-nazi lol). Fictional: Alice Cullen.
Living Person: Jennifer Aniston, i dont need to say why i dont think Dead Person: My brother.. Fictional Character: Peter Griffin.. the guy is a legend!
Living person: My dad, we've grown closer this year and it's such a wonderful feeling. He can be fun to hang around with as well because he's not too overbearing and protective. Dead person: Heath Ledger, would love to tell him what I thought about his performance in Brokeback Mountain and The Dark Knight. Would love to get inside this guy's mind because he was unique. Fictional Character: Bugs Bunny, because he's a riot, lol. My dad, Heath Ledger and Bugs Bunny. That would be fun in my mind.
Living: Matsumoto Jun maybe. Dead: Adam. The prophet. Hello to the first man ever Fictional:Nakatsu Shuichi from Hanazakari no Kimitachi e.
Living: Hmmm. I'll have to think about that one. Dead: Myself, yes I want to someway hang out with my dead self only to find out if there's a after life or not. Fictional: Roland of Gilead from The Dark Tower series. He's just been through so much in the books.. It'd be a hell of a lot interesting
Living: Trent Reznor Dead: Syd Barrett Fiction: Feanor (from The Silmarillion) that'd be interesting. Actually we'd be an awesome band, Syd and Trent can work together on Guitars and Synths and Drum beats, I could play bass, and Feanor could sing about epic battles and defying gods.
