How often do you shave?

A myth.

Hair is already dead, thus cutting or shaving it doesn't affect anything that's going on under your skin. The reason why your hair seems 'harder' if you shave it, is because naturally a new hair is thinner in the top (endings if you like), so if you shave it off the hair will grow back just as thick as the shaft of the hair. Compare freshly cut hair to hair that's never been cut, the freshly cut hair's endings are thicker than the thin endings of hair that's never been cut.

So you might as well say that if you have blonde hair but you dye it black, you'll always grow black hair. Or you wear blue nailpolish your nails will grow blue on them own.

 

I hate electric razors... Always leaves this burning rash...

I used to shave every 4 months or something like that. I had quite the amazing beard, but it looked scruffy and hobo-ish. I have a new lady in my life who likes me to be clean cut, so I try to shave every week or so these days, keeping my goatee growing though.

It's like how grass is. Uprooting it is like waxing. mowing it is like shaving.

We should all grow full on beards, instead of just not shaving for three days (unless that's all you need), then post pictures.

 

I would but the hair under my chin scratches my neck in my sleep making it hard for me to sleep without coughing, lame but true. lol

I could grow my tash a bit though for picture worth.

This is probably not true in anyway, but it feels like it is to me:
I've gone a while now without drinking alcohol, and I don't seem to be growing the same amount of facial hair as I was like a month ago when I was drinking regularly. So from this day I will be drinking a few beers daily to see if it makes a difference in a 2 weeks.

Luckily I have blonde facial hair because if I miss shaving it's not visible till the third day.

I don't grow that much facial hair.. :/ so I rarely shave. so I guess it's about every few weeks or months or so.. Something like that.

Also I don't really use shaving cream or an electric razor.. I just use a disposable one. yeah I'm lame so what?
