I'm pretty much the same. I'm mature when I need to be. Other times, I'm making fart jokes and sexual innuendos. All in good fun, though.
I personally don't consider myself as immature as some people I know, but I have my moments depending on the situation.
It really depends with me. I'm in no way perfect, I can definitely be immature at times. I can also be the most mature person you know. Like Marj, I can go from 1 till 10 anytime as well.
I can be a 1, but I can also be a 10 and I'm proud of it. I think that anybody on this planet who is going to take their life too seriously; and therefore think that they must 'act their own age' or be 'grown up' 100% of the time, will be nothing more than a total stiff who doesn't understand what it means to enjoy themselves or live their lives to the fullest. Those who have talked to me on a daily basis over the past 5 years, will know that I am able to act like an adult and be a "1" when it is absolutely appropriate, but that to me...simple laughs between friends, and moments where you get to have a great time and boost that rating up to a 10 is what I think life is all about. I am happy to say I have my immature, happy times and I think everyone here should too. My view is: You need to learn to laugh at life, cause sooner or later it may just laugh at you .
I think I am quite mature. To be fair though, I think a large part of being mature is being comfortable enough with yourself to kid around and act less serious depending on the situation and your own desires. Once in a while though I am likely stubbornly immature over an issue, and I can at times be somewhat selfish.
Earlier today, I graduated college. Later this evening, I was nearly on the floor in tears laughing because in the parking lot of the restaurant we were eating at was a stain or outline of something that was in the shape of a penis. So yeah, I'm all over the place when it comes to maturity
