Appreciate this quality band of sorts. Churned out some classic dance hits but most importantly Europop is one of the best dance/electronica/whatever albums of the last decade or so. "Blue (Da Ba Dee)" – 3:29 "Too Much of Heaven" – 5:17 "Dub in Life" – 3:57 "Living in a Bubble" – 5:03 "Move Your Body" – 4:28 "My Console" – 4:13 "Your Clown" – 4:09 "Another Race" – 4:34 "The Edge" – 4:20 "Now Is Forever" – 5:44 "Silicon World" – 4:31 "Europop" – 5:28 "Hyperlink (Deep Down)" – 4:57 What a fucking lineup!
I just realised that's not how the tracklist goes on my copy of Europop. Wikipedia eh. They left bliss co and formed Bloom 06. In The City isn't a bad track. http://www.myspace.com/bloom06 Doesn't hold a candle to the greats of Europop mind.
That's how my track listing is. Maybe Australia got a different version. I think "Too Much of Heaven," "Living in a Bubble" and "The Edge" were my favorite songs. I never got to hear their later material though.
Yea I've got the European version with two discs. Their later stuff was pretty bland IMO. Really unimaginative melodies (see: Lucky [In My Life]) I mean, as if this song isn't one of the best things ever:
This stuff is already in my car, haha. But oh, this is making me go back into my electronica-dance-pop collections. Hello, Sarina Paris.

I used to thrive on dance pop. Eiffel 65 and Daft Punk were about all I listened to in 2001, before I started listening to P.O.D. and Linkin Park.
Nor do I. I do know however that Another Race is the only bad song on Europop having listened to it through again.
Yeah. I'm listening through it again, too. This is my second time tonight. "Another Race" isn't so good. Neither is "Your Clown," but it's more tolerable at least.
Brings back memories!! I remember the first time I heard Eiffel 65, I was on Mplayer (an old online gaming client) and I was in a room with some people I played with regularily, one of them happened to be from Europe and they played Blue (da ba dee) over the voice chat, and through the cruddyness of the crappy voice codec I actually got hooked on the song and made them play it a few times. Then it was off to Napster . I got the cd for Christmas the year it came out.
