Okay i am Running Windows Vista home Premium And Ive Only Recently had this problem

Everytime i open up iTunes it has to basically Reinstall Each time. And Quicktime. when I open it, it says

Error 46: Could Not Load or find the QuickTime ActiveX Control

No matter how many times I Reinstall both. They both do the same thing. And they never did before. They just started randomly.

    Any ideas?

Ive Never had a problem with Vista, I love it so much more than XP. And it worked before so i dont see what changed except maybe somehow a ActiveX component that wont Fix itself.

    But idk.

uninstall itunes and quicktime, delete the install folders completely and then the try deleting the registry values related to itunes and quicktime. make sure you back up your registry first incase something bad happens.

    see if that works.

Don't touch the registry unless you're sure of what you're doing, otherwise things will go kaboom...

I really need to keep tally of how many times the iTunes syncing question is asked in this forum. We're up to at least a hundred or two by now.
