http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9k5A2fhANw0 holy FUCK! I cannot wait for this album, the trailer gave me goosebumps
I got bored halfway through the song and couldn't follow it anymore. I used to love Disturbed but to me this is nothing like the old Disturbed at all. I didn't even really like the trailer. I'll probably still check the album when it comes out. After all, there's a lot of albums I thought sucked from 30 second clips, and then was proved otherwise upon listening to them in their entirety.
I learn to never base ANY songs off of a 30 sec. clip, and that's what I did when listening to the chorus of "Inside the Fire", but the intro playing during the trailer at least is better.
I just really liked Disturbed the most on their first album. Believe was okay but I felt they had gone too lighthearted (although I understood the change was due to the death of David's grandfather so I respected that), and with Ten Thousands Fists it was way too political. With this album they've gone darker again so I may like it more. I just have to wait till it comes out.
I heard that this album will be more about the "bad luck" that David had during the production cycle and before it, so in more so the standard stuff you hear about on other music. The only things i've heard about the songs was that "Inside The Fire" was "based on a true life experience when he was 16, his girlfriend at the time had commited suicide" (it's in the article I posted above) and that "Indestructible" is pretty much "an anthem for the troops". Plus, hopefully they're going to put their FNM cover on the album. Yeah, i'm fucking pumped for this album like hardcore.
Nothing wrong with having a band with some consistency these days. With every band changing everything to find a new style, it's nice to be able to pop in a cd and know that its something you can trust to be great. That's why I love Disturbed, and will most likely buy this album.
Apparently "Perfect Insanity" is actually a very old song that Disturbed wrote before they were signed. You probably all already know this, but if you didn't:
I'll never understand why band's revisit old songs. Most of the time they are juvenile compared to the stuff they can write now, and a waste of time. Then again about 50% of Linkin Park's Hybrid Theory was recycled songs so I really shouldn't speak.
Much better. Listening to the chorus only (30 sec. clip) was just awful, but the song as a whole is pretty fucking awesome. These guys won't fail on this album, swear to god.
I agree, in the trailer it said that it's produced BY Disturbed, is this the first CD like that? I bought Inside The Fire on iTunes and holy shit, I want to kill somebody and rock out, lol. This album is going to be amazing.
