life for nothing sacrifice optimism resonating fear surrender happiness discover disappointment forget hope embrace isolation without without isolation embrace hope forget disappointment discover happiness surrender fear resonating optimism sacrifice nothing for life A short poetic commentary on the viewpoints of life. Often times two opposites are shared by the same basic structure, it is all a matter of interpretation.
It's confusing to me. Because I'm stupid. But It's a awesome concept, not sure of what I think of it yet though.
Basically the first half is the negative perspective on life. The second half is the exact same words as the first half, but reversed. When reversed, it has a completely different message. If you were to split the poem into two parts, it would be between the two 'without's.
I like it. It's like a reflection in a pond. I dunno just when I read it I imagine a stone being tossed in water and seeing the ripples. I like it. Good job
Yeah, it took a while. Really, I had the direct objects all written out, it was just the verbs and whatnot that I had to think about. This one actually started out while I was sitting in my car. I was on my laptop smoking a cigarette, and Closer came on. I started typing random lyrics from the song down, and it ended up being 'isolation' and a few other words, but obviously isolation was the only word that made it.
Um thanks... Anyways, I really just posted here so a) more people would read this and b) I didn't want to see 'The Lyrics' as the most recent topic on the homepage. Thanks everyone!
