I thought the sushi was fried-steamed rice wraped in seaweed, and the fish was just a toping. As you can also eat cooked steak or chicken in sushi.

 

No, sushi is just that sticky japanese rice with a piece of fish on top. Maki are those little rolls, little piece of fish in the middle, sticky rice around it and the seaweed holds it all together, they serve it with wasabi and ginger. Now I want some dammit.

Oh, I was told by a Japanese person that sushi didn't have to have fish and it was only the steamed rice wraped in seaweed. Thanks for the info though

Well, that's weird. Me and Maxime like to try out alot of different Japanese restaurants and we ALWAYS get it like that. Oh well.

I've only been to a japanese resturant once. And that was for me to try out my japanese. Sadly there were no Japanese people there. They were hispanic.

Last time we went to one, there was this girl working there, so petite, so grrrrr, yummy. <3

 

I just talked to him on the phone.

He has a nice voice.

...and he thinks my accent and nervousness is cute, which is weird.
