I think I speak for a lot of people when I say, with due respect, how the hell did Offspring get to be headliners?

Sounds good so far. I keep saying every year I'll go but I never can because of money problems aka not having any.

EDIT: I take it the Saturday headline act hasn't been announced yet then?

Yep, those are the only ones so far. According to Kerrang's website they're announcing the last headliner at 4pm tomorrow on their radio station, and two more at 7:30.

I'm guessing the last headlining act will be Metallica.

That would make sense. It'd definitely have to be a band of that size.

I can't fathom how those bands are headlining over Judas Priest.

Don't get me wrong, I love the Lostprophets, but... this is just ridiculous.

Lostprophets have their album coming out real soon - and from what i gather it going to sound a lot more like their first effort, Shinobi vs Dragon Ninja. if thats the case then im sure they'll be cracking headliners! i might just have to go to see them!!

The Offspring aren't good live, right?

Makes it even more weird they headline over Judas Priest and that's without even thinking about how many more decades Judas Priest has made music compared to The Offspring.

The thing I found strange about the Offspring headlining is that they don't really seem to have done anything for about four or five years now.

I don't think the organisers take that into consideration. After all, in '05 Feeder headlined with support from Megadeth and Garbage among others and Motorhead were on the second stage...

    Yes, that too.

@Luke: I guess they just do whatever they want with the festival. :p

I'm gonna lay down the bet for Metallica and/or Foo Fighters for headliners. FF have been heavily rumored and Metallica makes sense.

The Offspring will have a new album out by the time the festival begins so it makes sense. And they're a great bad, one of my favourites. Too bad they don't play songs from their first two albums live.

Kiss will be the Friday headline act. I bet no one saw that coming.

Motorhead and Rise Against also confirmed to appear.

EDIT: Why do I keep saying support instead of Headline? *fixed*
