The Artwork was released too. I'm not a fan of the artwork to be honest, but it definitely shows which direction he's taking this. I liked his previous albumcovers a lot more, though. Tattoo designs suited the albums, this is I could've made. Couple of songs that he played live already and they're awesome so it'll be great to hear studio versions. Stoked for this.
Ahhh! So happy he's putting some older demos ("Forgive Me", "Confessions", "Sleeping Sickness", and "Sensible Heart") on the new album! Can't wait to hear the new versions! Especially "Sensible Heart". Wow. Can't wait!
Since this is pretty much the official thread for the new album I figured I'd post this in here too: http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=25415576 Making off video.
Well, it's kind of too Iron And Wine for me, I mean it shows which way Dallas is trying to go and it's his solo album but it's kind of weird to have his face on the cover in such a way to me.
I'm liking the new stuff. He's going in the right direction, and seems more confident every time. I know I'm buying the album
Gordon Downie from The Tragically Hip appears on "Sleeping Sickness"! Can't wait to hear the new version.
I think, at least in terms of having a picture of himself on the cover, it's probably as good as it could be.
I did say in terms of having a picture of himself I wouldn't have minded either way but yeah, different strokes for different folks.
