Waiting for City And Colour

The first single, Waiting, of City And Colour's (Dallas Green's band) new record, Bring Me Your Love, has been released on iTunes and has been put on their Myspace page.

I'm not a fan of the artwork to be honest, but it definitely shows which direction he's taking this. I liked his previous albumcovers a lot more, though. Tattoo designs suited the albums, this is I could've made.

Couple of songs that he played live already and they're awesome so it'll be great to hear studio versions.

I love the album art, personally.

Well, it's kind of too Iron And Wine for me, I mean it shows which way Dallas is trying to go and it's his solo album but it's kind of weird to have his face on the cover in such a way to me.

 

I'm liking the new stuff. He's going in the right direction, and seems more confident every time.

I think, at least in terms of having a picture of himself on the cover, it's probably as good as it could be.

 

I'm not sure, I just liked the ones that have his tattoos better.

 

I did say in terms of having a picture of himself I wouldn't have minded either way but yeah, different strokes for different folks.

 

It's not the cover, it's the music that counts.
