This is the worst LPU package in recent memory. A virtual slap to the face to the fans who waited 4 years for Minutes To Midnight.

They can't even give us ONE b-side for Christ's sake. Unbelievable.

Sucks that there's no new tracks. Shirt is good. =/

By the way, were the pictures not posted on purpose?

I pretty much called this months ago. Remember they had that poll of your favorite songs from Projekt Revolution at like the end of September? I knew it was to determine the LPU7 tracklisting the second I saw it.

Copy-paste doesn't work on pictures.

Wow. I feel like there's no reason for me to renew other than the opportunity to get presale tickets and invited to meet & greet. 10 live songs from PR sucks. Anyone can go to the concert, and there you can buy the live cd from the show. Anyone also can buy M2M and get the same songs. Dont get me wrong, live tracks are great, but the LPU is exclusive that you pay extra for and only once a year does it come out. I was also a member of the street team for the launch of M2M. I would have appreciated fewer songs, them being rarities or b-sides. And shoelaces? Seriously? But wait, for $10 more, you can get the BONUS package which includes a recycled cd from previous years (which, with my luck, will be a leftover from 6 that I already have and nothing from <4 that I want). *sigh* I saw it coming. I thought the WID video was great, then bleed it out came out and it was meh, then SOTD sucked and we basically saw chester eating toast in his boxers watching tv. What's happening?

Wow that's bullshit. 10 live recordings we can already have. Wonderful.

Who the hell decides this shit?

I like how the one bit of news I manage to post, everyone hates.

But yeah, I'm not too pleased with the whole 10 live tracks thing. I mean, they made more than 100 songs for MtM. Not one B-Side? Not even like, a 30 second clip to offer? That's ridiculous.

Hopefully the live tracks will be at least somewhat decent, with perhaps some change-ups and whatnot.

Live tracks are never particularly special, though. Unless, they're Muse.

I must say, though, I do like the shirt and the idea of shoelaces. That's kind of neat.

yeah, LP shoelaces - i thought ... that's just ridiculous.

if this new CD has "hands held high" and "in pieces" on it, that'd be alright.

*sigh* Another LPU cd full of tracks we already have. This is the 3rd one. I'll get it because I still love the band and I'm a big collector, but this is getting insane. LPU 6 was total crap. The only thing I got out of it was presale tickets. Other than that, we got like 4 videos and that was IT. Not even any song releases or anything.

I love how they advertise LPU as offering "exclusive audio and video clips" every single year yet the last LPU exclusive audio was a teaser clip of Somewhere I Belong during LPU 2.0.

i could definitely see that. for sure.

if LPU hadn't gone and voted all over that poll, what would've happened? :)

but, seriously, yeah, 7.0 is gonna blow. i mean, LP have been touring like hell, even distributing audio recordings from their own shows; imagine how many people have entire show recordings now -- over half the people from each projekt show. adding to that, those people have seen the show. they've seen LP perform live. a new CD of live tracks isn't gonna be impressive.

add to that, they've been working on demos - didn't they record one as soon as they got to china? or tokyo? or whatever -- they were hasty to release "QWERTY", last year; i want to hear a new demo.

The poll for everyone's favorite live PR tracks was in like early October, long before LP recorded that new track in Thailand, so the tracklisting was probably decided long before then. QWERTY was recorded right after they got back from Japan in August, so they had a lot more time to get it on the LPU CD.

Hmmm maybe that means that track is going somewhere else then? Maybe they will put it on one of the upcoming singles but I highly doubt it. It was probably a Dead By Sunrise track anyways.

It's been confirmed that all of Linkin Park were in the studio recording the track, there's no way it was a DBS song. The DBS album is basically finished, Chester has said he's putting the finishing touches on it during an LP touring break from March to May next year.
