Which bands have a unique sound?

    Which bands do you think sound unique? "Unique" as in when you hear "Points of Authority" (for example), you can identify it right away as a Linkin Park song. I can only think of several bands: Linkin Park, System of a Down, AFI and Slipknot.

    There are probably a handful of other bands that sound really unique but I just haven't heard their music enough to judge. ^_^

    Slipknot's sound isn't really unique because a lot of bands I've heard I've mistaken for Slipknot.

    I think a band like Mudvayne, however, is very original and unique. There's no other band like them.

    Linkin Park and Mudvayne are prolly the 2 most original right now.

    Linkin Park.... Nobody could even try to replicate the stuff that they seemingly effortlessly pull off...
    Evanescence vocals are original, and I think that their older music is very original but I'm sure a lot of eva-like-bands will sprout up soon so I'm not so sure...
