Well it's true. You don't need to connect everyday. My DSL is connected where even though I turn off the computer or restart it, it is on 24/7.
Let's just settle this once and for all: It all depends on where you are. In some areas, Cable is better than DSL. In other areas, it's the exact opposite. Once again, it all depends on where you are.
My aunt needs to connect everyday so YOU are wrong.
Maybe it's because we are in different areas. Other than that, I see no reason to connect because DSL is a 24/7 service (or atleast mine is). And no I'm not wrong. My DSL goes 24/7 wether the computer is off.

My aunt has to connect everyday, but once she does it's on until she turns the computer off.
the way i see it, cable is much better than dsl 'cause a lot of ppl as well as I have to connect and cable is much faster. although I don't understand this lag thing.
so that's where my pigeons went. I knew they were stolen >< ^^ By the way, nice sig, Alex, I've never seen so many buttons in one sig in my life!
I've had DSL and it sucks - way too much lag EVERYDAY. Cable has down problems like once every 3 months...and it's usually for like 2 minutes, so I think I can deal with that. Cable is so freakin' faster than DSL...no kidding. I used to think DSL was better but then once I got cable, it all turned around. Whoever said DSL is better than cable is very lost.
It's true though - and personally, I don't think you can say one is better than the other until you've tired both, like myself.
My cable only lagged during the summer. My new cable only lags when there's high traffic now. Trust me, cable is better, why would they have cable in college campuses if DSL is better?
because cable is cheaper. ...i think
Lol probably that too. I'm sure it's both cheaper and more reliable *shrugs*
because cable is cheaper. ...i think
lol. I only pay $5 extra on my cable bill for my cable.
