There’s my world inside this world
That I don't ever wanna leave
You have shown me all the signs
And now it's clear to me

Our city's sound asleep
Disappearing in the fire

So I went into a church
But I didn't dare to wake the priest
He was talking in his dream
To a crowd that also sleeps

And the first among the equal
Man we chose to lead our way
Dreamt a dream of golden fields
With tiny smile upon his face

Doctor help me, is it real
Or has my mind abandoned me
I scream and shout but he can't hear
Not a sign of awakening

I ran as fast as I can run
Up to my house so I could tell
My family how our city dies
But they were sleeping there as well

I like it, it's interesting, but in a good way if you know what i mean.

When I started this I wanted to write something completely different but I kinda drifted away. I've been doing that all the time recently

 

Some of the lines seem a little unfitting imo. But other than that I like the idea and most of the wording.

Some lines seem really awkward to me as well, but the whole song came out in almost a single breath so I thought it's best leave it that way (if that makes any sense lol)
