Hybrid Theory had 5 Total, Meteora had 5, so let's hope they continue this trend with Minutes To Midnight. In all complete honesty. I truly believe they will make 5 for M2M. What I've Done, Bleed It Out, and Shadow Of The Day are "confirmed", then I believe No More Sorrow will be created, but "only shown" in Europe/other countries as an international single, and then I believe they will come back and do "Leave Out All The Rest" for their final video. Just wishful thinking, so don't quote me, but it just "feels right" if they make these all videos.

EDIT: I just thought I'd take another quick guess; but if they were to not make Leave Out All The Rest, I see them making a "livish" video for Given Up.

Linkin Park Plans Long-Term Support For 'Minutes'

Blabbermouth reports that Chester had told The Pulse of Radio that Linkin Park has a long-range plan to support the record.


"I think this time around we're really just gonna try to tour as much as we can on this record," he said. "We have a lot of material to work with and, you know, our sets are gonna be very diverse and things like that. So, you know, we'll take this as far as we can before, you know, we have to go back in and make another record, so I could see a good couple of years out of it, hopefully maybe a little bit more, and, you know, we'll start working on the next record during this process and just keep the ball rolling."

Personally i hope they come to australia twice (including the tour in october) if this is the case, and if they don't for me this is a bit of a disapointment.

 

Obviously this isn't a real concrete source, but the TV.com forums (along with a couple other sources I've seen) are reporting that LP's cover of Little Boxes is going to be used in Season 3, Episode 5 of Weeds, which is airing this coming Tuesday. I don't expect this to get posted as news or anything but I'm just giving anyone with Showtime a heads-up.

*Edit* Nevermind, turned out to be false. Billy Bob Thornton does the theme for this week's episode, but LP's is still coming sometime this season.

I find "This" as the Shadow of The Day cover. Frankly I'm not sure if its the real thing (and even if so it is a tad little too early), but I want to hear your opinion on this.

 

It looks pretty legitimate (the background picture looks new and it's right in line with the art style on the Bleed it Out single), but as you said, it is very early.

Good job LP for holding the title as long as you guys did. LP sold a ton of recods without creating some phony charade, and they remain humble and appreciate to the fans, whereas Kanye and 50 are just using theirs as tools to buy their album.

 

The record was bound to be broken. That is interesting to know.

Second to None is featured on a promo for Prison Break. I just saw it on the TV so I don't have a source. Sorry, it played the chorus with Mike rapping some of his verse too.

 

"Cabler" is just referring to Spike TV.

I'm not sure if these are "official" enough to be real sources, but I'm just telling you what I'm seeing. It seems kind of strange that they would release it with 8 days gap between them.
