He'll be doing the Amens during the chorus and then he'll sing the part at the end while Phoenix changes to the Amens.

Brad just said a random number, because if you watch 'Bleed It Out' presentations,' specially the Live Earth one, you can see how after Chester screams, they start playing the chorus a lot of times with the people ....

Not necessarily. They're trying it multiple ways. We'll only know for sure how it's going to be done once we hear it.

They're all great setlists, but unfortunately I can't get too excited about anything, since I won't be able to see them for PR :(. Although I'm rather upset that they're no longer playing With You live.

"LINKIN PARK said that each of the PR show will be recorded and fans can buy the show that they attended. It's like what Pearl Jam did in their past tour where a CD of every show they played were available for purchase."

Well, we will have bootlegs show every single P:R '07 concert, i think.

Ahh, Instant Live! Pearl Jam and Kiss were 2 of the first bands to offer this a few years ago, basically there will be a booth at the shows where you can order a CD, and they'll mail you a copy of the show you attended in proshot audio quality! Holy crap I'm excited LP is doing this.

People, if you go to shows, BUY THESE!

    thanks for the info!

we'll definitely be buying one or two from the Hartford, CT show. I'm hoping we catch some new stuff or some improv "covers" like they have done in the past.

Actually, it looks like it'll be a music player download rather than buying an actual CD:

Mike: "Lemme put it this way, every time you hear bootlegs of live shows on the Internet, it's always, like, board mixes or somebody's cellphone mix...they always sound terrible, regardless of how the song's played, you know? And in our case, we hear a lot of that stuff out there, and we thought, well, wouldn't it be nice if you could go to the show and buy the show? And at our show, you will be able to. You'll be able to go and pick up the show, and it'll download to you, and you'll be able to have that in your music player."

I wonder if they'll have any collaborations at any of the shows...

    Bert from The Used
    JD of Korn
Snoop & even Jay-Z all made appearances in LP's sets during PR:04 adding their own little twist to the show.

Not that I'd particularly care for or even want to see Werard Gay or the like joining LP on stage... but I'm sure some other people would...

question is, what song do you think he'd join for?

I'm hoping that was a typo, because I'm honestly considering giving you a warning for that. We don't allow homophobic language here.

I wouldn't say that was homophobic, just mocking MCR, I think.

I was wondering the other day... when we first hear the studio version on QWERTY, most didn't know if the live was performed before or after they recorded it... the vocals were "raw-er" sounding, and the song sounded almost "incomplete" when heard live. It'll be interesting to see if they do the studio version live, or stick to the one they did live already. It'll clear up alot of the debate over it, that's for sure.

Also, these bootlegs being given out, I hope people have them to download, since I"m unable to attend a PR show... I consider myself a collector of LP songs, old and new, and I'd like to get these shows on my computer... *fingers crossed*

The studio version was recorded after the live version, it's explained very clearly in the LPU 5 newsletter. QWERTY was only created like, 3 days before they flew to Japan while they were doing rehearsals. They were working on Grecian and planning on playing that in Japan, but they never managed to finish the song. Phoenix brought in the verse guitar riff of QWERTY, Mike started making beats to go along with it on his keyboard, and they brought the instrumental together over the next couple days. Mike and Chester wrote the lyrics on the flight to Japan, and the first time they ever played the song together as a band was at the soundcheck for the Zepp show. Then when they got back from Japan, they took the song into the studio, Rick suggested some changes, they tweaked the arrangement, and came up with the version on the LPU6 CD.
