This movie could've been an absolute tragedy but Michael Bay definitely did the series justice. I loved the movie and thought everything about it was great.

I loved it. The scene with all the Autobots outside Sam's house, avoiding his parents was just hilarious.

There were some serious moral flaws in the movie (the world rests in Sam & the Transformers hands, but he hides the robots instead of telling them? what?), and stupid preteen sexual jokes (Bumblebee peeing on the S7 agent).

Other than that, and a few other things I can't exactly remember, that movie was seriously one of the best movies of the year. The final battle had me on the edge of me seat, and constantly through that movie I had to smoke a cigarette after certain scenes because it was so intense.

Definately a good movie. I wasn't a fan of the original series, so I wouldn't know if Michael Bay did a good job paying homage to the original, but it was pretty kickass. I'll buy it on DVD when it comes out for sure.

Yeah, so, uh... okay. I didn't even like Transformers at all when I was younger. I had one of the action figures but I eventually tossed it in my dad's grill because the fucker was too complicated for me to "transform".

Just watched it today. The graphics were fuckin' amazing to say the least. The movie was a feast for the eyes, and it was surprisingly funny here and there. The plot was clean and simple, nothing complicated at all. Easily one of the best films of the year imo.

I saw it yesterday. What an awesome movie!

It was a great mix of comedy and action. I only briefly watched the show in my youth, so I wasn't a stickler for details. I've never seen so much shit blow up in my life. This movie must of had one hell of a budget. Michael Bay delivers perhaps his best film.

It was cool to have "What I've Done" playing through the movie, too.

I'm continually stupified by Hollywood. Congratulations Michael Bay, you've saved your ass for a few more years.

(No, I haven't seen the film; not planning too.)

I really enjoyed this movie...you can tell how much work was put into each scene involving a transformation. I actually cared about the CG characters more than the real ones so they did a good job establishing them. Optimus Primes voice actor was really good. There were scenes that were kinda cheesy or didn't make a lot of sense...but considering this is Micheal Bay i was pretty impressed.

first of all this movie was TOO long. the humor was rather boring and forced. the graphics were just awesome and the slow-mo scenes are the shit, honestly.
but apart from that? stupid military demonstration (oh yeah, the great american force...) and a lot of pathetic "humans are cool" feelings the whole time.
the scene with the transformers avoiding sam's parents was so dumb and stupid, i had problems to stay awake...

great action, that's it about it.

I liked it although just as posted before there are scenes that didn't need to be in the movie (or not as long).
