For those of you who were wondering how many copies of Minutes To Midnight have been shipped worldwide since its release, IGN seems to have your answer.

According to them, 3.3 million copies of the album have been shipped worldwide, with over one million of those copies originating from the USA. In addition, the album has hit #1 in a total of 32 countries since its release, going platinum in half (16) of those nations.

And I thought it was more; oh well. 3.3 million internationally in a month or so is badass.

well LP is better than 50 Cent and Shakira :p

I think the only artist which can break the highest sales record this year is Eminem.

LP are probably the biggest act of the 21st century and are in a completly different league of that of Shakira and 'Fiddy'.

this album is going to sell more than Meteora. With new singles like Given Up and Bleed It Out catching the heavy crowd, if they release Shadow Of The Day - this album will skyrocket.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't it only Given Up and Shadow of The Day that are confirmed as singles?

It will be more but for now this numbers are great considering this album was released only 1 month ago. And as others have said the next singles and tours will boost the sales.

    Well done LP. :)

These are amazing these day in time.

If Eminem releases his CD this year (it could happen in December I'm hearing) then he will beat 625,000.

I even think 50 Cent could.

I agree. Completely different league. And they are the biggest act, no doubt about it.

3.3 million records is huge success. Mind you that this record has only been out for a bit over a month. That's amazing.

    Way to go, Linkin Park!
