Most generally we've all seen that there's a good amount of LP video content on the Internet (in the area of music videos) and some official music videos. What's everyone's take on the lack of FM videos? I realize Mike is a busy man as being a part of the LP band and producer but I discussed this with my friend that there should be more music videos for some of his better songs.

Or do we, as fans, need to make our own fan made videos? Just figured I'd get this issue onto the boards and hear some more experienced member's takes on this because I certainly don't know.

    Thanks!

There's always fans that make videos. Mike's main focus is on Linkin Park as of late. FM is put on hiatus due to this, and as far as a future, it's uncertain. We'll have to see when Chester releases his solo album if Mike decides to do anything more with Fort Minor. (I'm hoping for a b-sides mainstream album, or even a brand new one. Wouldn't mind that one bit, Mike... haha)

And people are saying he MAY perform songs with Styles of Beyond on tour. Guess the only way to find out would be to go to Syracuse, aye? ;)

there were videos for every single; "remember the name", "petrified", "believe me" and "where'd you go". hell, there are 3 videos for "remember the name"!

plus, at the end of the day, fort minor is only a side project. linkin park is a full-time project, with 3 albums - surplus - hence more videos! :D what i will say, though, is that the DVD for the making of "the rising tied" was ridiculously short.

I agree. Fort Minor is only a side project. And plus, you can only make so many videos for just one album. And you know it gets ridiculous when one song alone has 3 videos.

Fort Minor is not a full-blown project and it probably will never be. If Fort Minor does decide to release another album, it will probably receive more success because now everyone has an idea about what it is and the potential it has. By no means, though, does that say that Fort Minor will get to Linkin Park's level. It never will. Linkin Park has been on the spotlight for many, many years now and is the highest selling band of the 21st century. They've taken the world by storm and unfortunately, a side-project like Fort Minor simply can't do that. It's not capable of it. At least, that's what I think.

Either way, I think you shouldn't worry about the lack of videos. Fort Minor has only one album and Linkin Park has 3 studio releases and other releases as well. That's a pretty legit reason to explain why Linkin Park has many more videos.

As far as the fans making more videos is concerned, it shouldn't stop them. YouTube is there for a reason. Go make a video and post it up and get some feedback. It's not that you have to because Fort Minor lacks videos, but it's a fun hobby.
