The Mars Volta - De-loused In The Comatorium

So this cd came out on june 24th and i bought it the day it came out and i have to say this is my favorite cd of 2003 I even like it more than the new deftones and new radiohead. I just found this cd perfect in every single way i listen to it a bunch of times every day its just 1 hour of pure greatness

oh and just in case you didn't know omar and cedric from at the drive-in are in this band and flea from red hot chili peppers plays bass

From 'Televators' and 'Take the Veil Cerpintax' they are the freshest act of the year.

Flea plays bass but John Frusciante plays guitar too! He is amazing with RCHP and no less with The Mars Volta!

yeah omars afro is all huge now and cedrics isnt really a afro anymore its just curly long hair

 

HOLY SH*T!!! Just got 'De-Loused', it is hands down the best album of 2003 so far!

Well, first of all I think you have the wrong band! IF you SURE its The Mars Volta, then tell us some legitimate reasons about why you don't like them, then I will actually take that comment seriously!

Oh, and I'm gonna probably post a review of the album soon! I just have to say that it is just as good as White Pony said! I was suprised by the rhythm section and how good it was! Flea (known as one of the best bassists of the 90s)-- and the drummer (whats his name?) is very creative and goes nuts on the fills!

 

I'm listening to this right now off Rolling Stone.

My thoughts:

THIS ALBUM AND BAND SUCKS.

Holy crap. The vocals are really, really, really annoying. I just don't like it at all.

 

:whistle: The impression I'm getting is that you just can't appreciate different music! Well keep listening to Limp Bizkit and TOAD!

 

Alright, for one thing...

I don't like Theory Of A Deadman.

For two, I'm getting the impression that you can't stand it when someone's opinions differ from yours.

 

I highly agree, Will. Odaton, Will has one of the best tastes in music so you really need to just chill.

 

14 words....THIS BAND IS THE WORST BAND I'VE HEARD IN MY ENTIRE FOURTEEN YEARS OF LIVING.

Your taste in music is fine...as I remember you recommended me to download a very nice song once...but don't say Will's music taste is horrible - it's not!

We all have great taste! How about that?
