My friend's playing in a band with a female vocalists and they had a cool tune but no lyrics so I wrote this for them :)

    Only Memories

    Time's drawing near
    The pendulum it slowly swings
    I have no fear
Of end and everything it brings
    My love is high
    Higher than any mountain
    Carved into heart
    Can never be forgoten

I cry your name but you're so far away
If only you were here today
I try and try but you're too far away
    The sky opens wide

    Only memories
    Keep me close to bliss
I'm on the edge but I'm still holding on
    Before I end this race
I need to see your face
Just one last time and I'll be dead and gone

    I gasp for breath
    Still haven't finished everything
    I feel the death
    Crawling slowly under my skin
    My heart is full
My door is open wide for him
    Just one more second
    Before I give in

I cry your name but you're so far away
If only you were here today
I try and try but you're too far away
    The sky opens wide

    Only memories
    Keep me close to bliss
I'm on the edge but I'm still holding on
    Before I end this race
I need to see your face
Just one last time and I'll be dead and gone

I like it, but acording to that song structure, that verses need a bridge verse, I will post one:

Why are you far away from me?
I need to see your white face
    one more time, it´s the last time;
so I can rest in peace forever.

    I hope this works...

Well the structure of the actual song is: verse-bridge-chorus-verse-bridge-chorus (posted here) plus a solo and then bridge followed by chorus again.

I think they already recorded it but thanks for the comment and for the suggestion anyway :)
