I admit: I don't buy CDs anymore. I just download full albums or the songs I want from the album. If it's there, why not? #### the RIAA. The last album I bought was Meteora because I'm a big LP fan. I do plan on buying Adema's and Dashboard Confessional's albums though, only because I'm a big fan of them as well.
Technically I think that's illegal. They can't just hack into your computer and see what you have. That goes against the Internet Privacy Act Bill Clinton signed in 1995 (or whenever). [/b][/quote] RIAA can do whatever the #### they want. They have the government's permission probably. The Gov. do it all the time...
I'm actually gonna stop using KaZaA now because I've received massive viruses. <_< At least I have Norton.
I deleted Kazaa on both of my computers and I got a couple friends to do the same thing. It's better to be safe than be sorry I guess.
I just found this. http://eff.org/IP/P2P/riaasubpoenas/ You can look up your IP address or username and see if you are being sued. I urge all of you check this out, because it tells ways to not get caught and more.
Will brings a good point, MP3's cant carry viruses, they have to be excuteable to be able to carry a virus.
I have never got a virus from Kazaa. But really i am not concerned about this whole RIAA thing, its just a big bunh of crap.
