Apologies if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find anything on it. Well, I bought the album yesterday, which I admit I wasn't so sure about for the first listen or two, but now I'm really liking it. Anyways, I decided to put the songs onto my computer, but all the track titles are weird. It doesn't really matter since I can just rename them, but I'm just curious if anyone has any idea why it's like that. Actual Name - Other Name 01 Wake - Stand! 02 Given Up - Bleed It Out 03 Leave Out All The Rest - Get Through 04 Bleed It Out - What I've Done 05 Shadow Of The Day - In this world 06 What I've Done - The Little Things Give You Away 07 Hands Held High - Hold nothing back 08 No More Sorrow - Over the Top 09 Valentines Day - Promisse 10 In Between - Real life 11 In Pieces - Afraid this Time 12 The Little Things Give You Away - 2.Worlds
Those are the first 12 tracks from the fake album leak that started circulating months ago. I posted about this on both LPU threads relating to this matter. Windows Media Player (and other media players) get their tracklisting info from a 3rd party database, so some idiot probably entered the fake tracklisting into the database instead of the real one.
Windows Media Player. Ah ok, that makes sense. Thanks. ^^ (Seems like a bit of a silly system though. Isn't there a way it can get that information from, oh I don't know, the CD? Or am I just being an ignoramus?) Ach, ya lucky devil.
Hah, my friend just told me about this problem. Well, you could use Realplayer (which was what he did), or iTunes (me ). WMP sucks, only the visualisations are good XD.
I agree, you should use iTunes to rip CD's. This is pretty minor, but when I ripped mine, it spelt the album as "MInutes To Midnight". Pretty "meh", I guess.
Same happened to me, it said minutes to midnight when you clicked on the cd on it's own but it said MInutes to midnight in the library.
Media Player does not have the album information for MTM yet, you'll have to wait a little longer. The info it comes up with now, ignore that. That was some fake leak I believe.
