In the latest issue of Revolver magazine, there's an interview with Mike and Chester about the new album. An interesting excerpt from the article has Chester saying: "We knew that we were gonna lose some fans with this record. It's not music you can work out to. There are people out there that only listen to Linkin Park because they love working out to our songs, but they don't even know what the songs are about. I mean, that's cool, thanks for your support. But this is not the record for you." Scans: Pages 1, 2, 3 Thanks to Friskey for the scans!
haha. that quote is quite true. i know a lot of people who bashed the album for lacking that aggressive, pump-up nature. others have praised it for going in a different direction and still sounding good.
Actually, I've been listening to the album for working out the past week or so. No one in the weight room seemed to mind, either. lol
Guys, i got a question ... do you think lp (in their future projects) gonna return a little bit to their old nu-metal/hip hop style ? or Totally Noway for that thing ? coz there's no blood for it or alibi
