Why would you want to listen to chester on his own if it sounded exactly like linkin park, I would also much rather he tried something different if he went solo. I also love the work he did in grey daze and the song he did with STP so I dont see why he shouldn't do something like that.

 

I don't mind what style he chooses as long as it happens.

 

That would be really cool if he went solo,i would sure as hell buy his album..but still i wouldnt want him to go solo though.

 

I don't think Chester should do a solo album although I would go out and buy it the day it came out. He needs to stay with LP. They sound better as a whole. Mike and Chester should just do guest appearances on albums and such.

 

Why is everyone arguing about Chester doing a solo album like you know he’s gonna do one. That’ll never happen. Plus if he does, Linkin park will die just like N’sync, backstreetboys, and Destiny Childs.

It's funny you guys keep saying LP will break up if Chester does a solo. Hmm...talk about a lack of faith in your so-called favorite band.

How can you compare LP to Wackstreet Boys? My goodness.

When Chester was with Grey Daze, he sounded great, and you guys like Grey Daze, so obviously Chester will be fine without LP. He's not a freakin' baby. Everyone in that band has unique personal talent and Chester wants to prove his own to the world.

 

First of all, imagine Chester going solo...I can't.

What's he gonna do? Chester is a great vocalist WITH A BAND. I'm not gonna lie, if Chester made a solo album and it sucked, I sure as heck am not gonna pay 20 bucks for it...just because his name is "Chester Bennington" doesn't mean it will be "AMAZING". I don't know what kind of cash flow you guys receive, but if music isn't good, I don't buy it, simple as that.

What's Chester supposed to do SOLO? I mean come on. Think about it. He's not a "pop" star like Justin Timberlake, he's not gonna break out in rythmic dance moves in the middle of his debut single's music video, just think about it people.

Also, Chester is too smart of a person to divert his attention from Linkin Park. They know Linkin Park is an unstoppable force right now, and Chester of all people would not be the one to tamper with their success.

On the other hand, Mike Shinoda is in a different ball game. I could see him doing a solo project in the future, but I also don't think he will.

Anyways, the only thing funnier than the thought of Chester going solo, is a thread about it. Haha, just kidding, keep making threads like this, and i'll keep replying.

 

cant chester play some guitar ( Sib chords ) well anyway it is a possible to be solo but also do well and not be a pop artist, look at dashboard confessional an amazing band .... but its just one man, it is possible, also wasnt the cover of jane says just chester alone, that performance is amazing and made some one i know who is a j.a fan start to like linkin park and chester

Maybe you can't imagine it, but I sure as hell can. He is writing his own sh*t on the side, by the way - so we might just see this idea happening.

 

I write crap on the side, it doesn't mean I'm gonna go on stage and sing alone. He can strum a few strings? That's beautiful, and I respect him because I sure can't strum a few strings, but still, that may be good for a few songs, but an entire solo album? It's a bit farfetched.
