Trying to find fellow AFI fans has been a struggle for me So if you like their music and stuff, just post in this thread and lemme know.
Try being a little more receptive to people and I'll get off your back. I'm not a big fan of punk or punk rock, but "Girls Not Grey" is a pretty good song. Is the rest of the album hard rock like "Girls Not Grey" or is it punk-ish?
I made a thread about them just a couple weeks back I am a HUGE HUGE HUGE AFI fan!!!!! I own all of their Albums of BSTS up, and love them all. AIM me if you have it, twicethetrouble2. LPFAN05, most of Sing The Sorrow isn't really punk or punk rock...but it's not really that heavy either...Get the All Hollows EP (like $5 in most record stores) and if you like it get Black Sails in the Sunset (their 1999 release).

I'm partial to Morningstar...that's about it and Davey Havok looks nothing like Alice Cooper. Unless Alice Cooper started looking like a girl and is really skinny..
I agree...lol...in SPIN magazine the one that featured LP, Havoc even had a females figure...creepy, but he to me looks like a girl.....but hey, whatever floats his boat (althought with 20lbs of eyeshadow on isnt gonna help him stay above water).............anyways..........
Girls Not Grey is a good song but not the best on Sing the Sorrow. Listen to Paper Airplanes..it's one of the best (IMO).
Sure, but what I meant was people who like both Linkin Park and AFI. [/b][/quote] Oh, so your trying to find poeple who like AFI and LP?
Yeah, I guess you could call them punk rock, although I don't really think of Sing The Sorrow as punk. There really early stuff (like, up to Shut Your Mouth) was hardcore, and Black Sails had more of a metal edge...But yeah, I guess you could call them punk rock. “I'm Davey and I sing, make faces and swing from trees.” - Davey Havok
