"What I've Done" has hit the #2 spot on the American iTunes charts in its first week of release, making it the second highest downloaded song through the online music service. First place went to Timbaland's "Give It To Me", while third went to Avril Lavigne's "Girlfriend". The song also took top spot on the US iTunes Rock charts, surpassing Nickelback and Augustana. Meanwhile, the song has propelled to the #1 spot on the Canadian iTunes charts, with the aforementioned Timbaland and Avril Lavigne songs in tow at #2 and #3, respectively. Lastly, the song hit #10 on the UK iTunes charts, and #3 on the UK iTunes Rock charts. Check back today or tomorrow for Billboard stats! found this on a rock news site i visit often: Linkin Park have set the all time record with six consecutive #1 singles in a row. The band's latest single "What I've Done" debuted at #1 at Alternative and #3 on Active charts. In addition to its radio impact, the song has already sold over 100,000 downloads on iTunes.
Just some info guys -- Linkin Park are currently #2, but it doesn't mean they sold that much. Some songs (Timbaland, Avril, etc) have more than one version of their song and once the total is added, the tally changes. Linkin Park actually finished this week at #4.
