Awesome. Do you know Japanese?

 

I know a little bit of kanji, and I've been trying to learn what sounds the different symbols (katakana and hiragana, katakana is the style your avatar is written in) make in hopes that I can start learning it over the summer. It's a very beautiful language.

 

It really is. I wanna learn it but they don't offer a course anywhere near me. I've been trying to teach myself a little but i fail

 

I don't even know if they offer a course near me... I just planned on teaching myself. A course would probably be helpful though because I'm so ADD

I'm starting to weird my family out because I've started becoming a bit of a Japanophile lately. It's also pissing off my teachers because I'm reading manga while I'm supposed to be taking notes...

Wow, that's awesome. I'm a complete Japanophile lol. I wanna go on to learn the language and move to Japan when i'm old enough/have enough money. Can't get enough of it

Hehe, I keep borrowing Hellsing from my friend Ricky because I don't have any of my own and I keep getting it confiscated by the teachers.

Anyways, I'd move to Japan just to get out of the US.

BTW, what are your favorite manga series?

Well, my favourite is definitely Angel Sanctuary, and the rest of Kaori Yuki's works (Mangaka for AS) such as Bloodhound, Godchild and The Cain Saga. But i also read Battle Royale and Absolute Boyfriend at the moment.

 

Hm, I keep asking people who read a lot of it what good manga to read/anime to watch is because I just got into it. So far I've read Hellsing and Deathnote, and I've seen some Bleach.

 

I've only ever seen the live action movie of Death Note as i couldn't get into the anime. Bleach is awesome too. I'd definitely recommend Angel Sanctuary, but read up on the subject matter first. It can get a little heavy and wrong at times, but it's brilliant.
