    Alright, after releasing Linkin Park's third studio album Minutes To Midnight and finish touring with it across the globe rocking on numerous of stages; what else will happen? Linkin Park seems to have a trend of filling in a gap of space between studio albums in a periodical notable chronology as a treat for their fans and supposingly a break from the making of a newer album.

    Linkin Park album chronology:

    -> Xero Sampler Tape - 1997 (Demo)
    -> Hybrid Theory EP - 1999 (Extended Play)
    -> Hybrid Theory - 2000 (First Studio Album)
    ---> Reanimation - 2002 (Remix Album)
    -> Meteora - 2003 (Second Studio Album)
    ---> Live In Texas - 2003 (Live Album)
    ---> Collision Course - 2004 (Mashup EP)
    -> Minutes To Midnight - 2007 (Third Studio Album)
    ---> ?????

    Time for us to fill out the "?????" and see what all of us would want. Linkin Park has already covered up a EP album with Xero Sampler Tape (Demo), Hybrid Theory EP and Collision Course which was a mashup album with Jay-Z, a remix album with Reanimation in 2002 and the live album Live In Texas.

    Personally I would find it interesting if they could make another remix album and try to restructure their new song structures into nu-metal format; probably would be delightful for us fans and still not really interupt with their new career, path and directions. But another thing I'd like would be new materials and song collaborated with Evanescence (my second favourite band after Linkin Park), just because Amy Lee's voice is rather also incredible and if you can mash ut with Chester's voice then it would be the Weapons of Mass Destruction for the ears to hear. :lol:

    By the way, a poll will be up if anyone sees this first before the poll is ready.

    I'd really like a remix album. Since this album is mostly gonna be rock, I'd like to see it all reinterpreted into Hip-Hop-esque music, with possibly a few remixes from Meteora too.

    Linkin Park has yet to do an unplugged album. That would rock. It would allow the sounds of the bass, piano, and samples to show through a little better. Also, I'd like to see the songs rearranged so that it's not just an acoustic copy of the originals but a remake of the song to fit the acoustic setting, a la A Perfect Circle or even Adrian Belew a lil bit.

    I'd like to see/hear a B-Side collection, maybe as an extra of a live DVD. A commercial release of Hybrid Theory EP would be awesome too!^_^

    If they really had to do something like this, I'd say a b-sides album. At least it wouldn't be the same songs we've already heard.

    10 E.P.s of their b-side work. I would just love to hear how this album was created. I would love to hear the stuff they set a side and little commentary tracks with Rick on how the album was formed. Then a new album in 2010.

    betch ya dis gonna happen:

    Minutes To Midnight - 2007
    Chester Solo - 2009
    4th Album - 2010

    I hope they do remix and then a Live album. I wish they would've done a remix for Meteora...

    Hmm, interesting. A sample poll was done on the official Linkin Park forums and a majority agreed to instead have another live album. I guess some of us has different opinions.

    But yeah now that I think of it, a remix would be good for either Meteora or Minutes To Midnight.

    I'd go for an album of hip-hop MTM remixes and a new dvd.
