While talking with Pittsburgh's 105.9 WXDX, DJ Joe Hahn confirmed several of the acts to be featured on the main stage of Projekt: Revolution 2007. Below are the highlights of his interview:

    - The acts confirmed by Joe are: My Chemical Romance, Saosin, Placebo, Taking Back Sunday, HIM, Mindless Self Indulgence. For the entire show, however, there will be roughly "twice as many bands."

    - In recording Minutes to Midnight, Hahn tried for a more "subtle... spacey" approach, engineering the song's sound rather than playing specific parts.

    - Linkin Park did one of their first photo shoots in Pittsburgh, as Joe remarks about the overcast skies than can be seen in the photos.

Sounds like a cool line up. I hope I can make it out to one of the shows this year. I haven't gone to a Projekt Revolution yet.

I'd go for... actually I wouldn't. There's LP, and TBS at a stretch.

7 bands? on the Main Stage? thats alot. and the interviewer threw them all at Hahn pretty quickly, So I wouldnt be surprised if at least one or two of those bands were on the second stage. Nevertheless, Im quite excited for this. LP, MSI, and MCR all on one stage? Oh Snap!

    I hate TBS and HIM.

Placebo? Never heard of them but heard they suck.

Linkin Park, My Chemical Romance and Saosin however....that makes it worth the price of admission to me. Andrea's gonna be THRILLED when she hears this. :D

Have you ever even HEARD Saosin's entire album? They're basically as good as Red Jumpsuit (who are in your sig) if not better.
