yeah that's a downside to having two versions of the cd, let alone 3 different packages.

 

Why would you want to get the clean version anyway?

 

I'm definitely getting that one.. but mcpancakes..whats the big deal of a few curses..i mean..it's linkin park..they cant curse that much..maybe just a few here and there.. I mean I'm not trying to start a fight..im just saying..if it was a curse in each sentence, i would understand..but i really doubt that.

 

cause I don't like the little parental advisory things on my album covers. reminds me too much of rap albums. and I hate rap that and my parents flat out wouldn't let me get the explicit version. also, when I heard the explicit version of some Rising Tied songs, it seemed that the swearing was just added in there for no reason, probably because I was used to normal language.

 

I wish there was a bundle with the CD/DVD, 24 Pg. book of artwork and lyrics, AND the coffee table book.

i pre-ordered my cd/dvd package yesterday as well.. but i'd most likely also buy the "$9.99 bestbuy" version just because of the different packaging.. (and Funeral For a Friend releases its album the day before the official MTM date.. so wut the hell rite? mite as well get both of them

 

Swearing is part of life. Sure, you can choose not to do it...but most people swear. It's not that big of a deal. Jesus. It doesn't make Linkin Park immature when they swear. It makes them human.

Yes, I'm aware that blahblahblahtheysaidtheyhaveotherwaysofwritingthatdontinvolveswearingblahblah but honestly...there's going to be a clean AND an explicit, so if you don't like swearing...get the clean version! WOW problem solved!

 

It is OK that the MP3's are on the DVD, but it doesnt really add something to the package, same songs but then in mp3. but it is skilful

This is the most likley reason, also if they are in MP3 format.. it measn they are not in 5.1 or DVD AUDIO quality... Warners at it agian....

 

i would assume it will be in 5.1 just like LIT........ill pay an additional £4 or whatever because i love watching how they make their music.....ie the wizard song in the making of meteora is just class....

 

you know, you guys should consider yourselves very lucky that you can get your hands on the cd, forget the dvd...

well, Mike swore on "The Rising Tied" because, well, its a rap album, he has to swear, lol. Judging from the lyrics that Chester revealed with the word "fucking" in it, he has a reason to, Mike didnt..he just did it. In the song, Chester is pissed off. When ur pissed off, u tend to swear a lot..lol, just a thought.
