One of our very own members has posted a rip of a great interview Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park held this morning with Live 105FM in San Francisco. Throughout this interview Mike Shinoda discusses why he does not rap as much as he used to on this album, as well as more information concerning the highly anticipated track "The Little Things Give You Away".

So towards the end of the month they are going to announce the dates for Projekt Revolution. Nice.

    Good interview.

I hope they come to Orlando for PR, since I'm about an hour away from there.

With all of the hype for "The Little Things Give You Away", I have a feeling it will be the best song on the album. But I guess we'll have to wait 6 weeks to find out.

Yeah, I'd figure it will be. They said in that track-by-track thing that the song had to be the last one on the album because it would eclipse the others or something. That may mean it's the best one, at least in their opinion, and/or the meaning of it is very strong is well.

Edit: btw, great interview. I'm glad mcpancakes got a rip of it; thx man!

I still don't understand why they're trying to change just cause what the media labels them as.

    ..because that's what it's called?

Interesting they went with the demo for the drums. For some reason that doesn't seam like Linkin Park at all. I guess Rick knows his stuff and is to be trusted on this one. I really expected this song to be near perfection (as in, re-recording like rob did) and I never would have guessed a demo would be used on it.

From the way Mike's talking about Rob's drums being the basis of the track, maybe The Little Things Give You Away was the "Drum Song" Rob had mentioned in the LPU chat?

hmm.. well it sucks that "chapter" of the band is over. lol It was a really good "chapter". lol But from hearing "What I've Done" I'd say this "chapter" will be just as great. =)

Aw, well it sucks Mike isn't rapping as much on the new album. That shall be different.

And does anybody know the band Linkin Park are rumored to be touring with?
