Okay so I noticed in the various MTM threads we've got going that there has been speculation as to who will be playing Projekt Revolution. MCR is confirmed (I think) and of course LP are in there so lets hear who else you want playing in your own Projekt Revolution lineup.
Well, according to that Billboard article, MCR is "likely." I really wouldn't like seeing MCR on the tour, BUT I could put up with it if there were some other kickass bands to make up for it. Here's what I'd like to see if they go with the whole 2 stages/5 bands a stage format again: Main stage: Linkin Park My Chemical Romance (if they're confirmed, hey, not much I can do about it) Muse Chevelle (they have a new album coming out in April) 30 Seconds to Mars 2nd Stage: Orgy Cypress Hill (Bobo has said it was likely CH would be on PR...then again, he IS almost always stoned ) Styles of Beyond (Same deal as Cypress, Ryu and other dudes at Spytech have said SOB is likely to be on PR) Funeral for a Friend (bring them back, they were awesome on PR04) Holly Brook
Yeah, i'd rather not see MCR there, though i could put up with them. RHCP, Muse, and Chevelle would be an awesome lineup
Linkin Park The Roots Shadows Fall Clutch Goldfinger Pepper Smile Empty Soul God Fires Man Ryan's Hope
I cant understand why everyone hates MCR. The Black Parade was a brilliant album and has absolutely no traces of "emo" in it. They changed their sound just like LP is doing.
It's because it's "MCR". It's "cool" to hate on them. Edit: I would like to have... Main Stage: Linkin Park My Chemical Romance / AFI (either or) Incubus Breaking Benjamin 30 Seconds To Mars Second Stage: any random but good rap and rock acts
My lineup would probably be: Main Stage: - Linkin Park - My Chemical Romance - Funeral For A Friend - Disturbed - Breaking Benjamin Dunno about second stage though lol
Oh, I like The Black Parade too, it's a great album. I'd just hate to have to suffer through hearing a bunch of songs from their first 2 albums, especially Three Cheers. And I've heard MCR live recordings, Gerard sounds pretty bad live. He's supposed to have gotten better but I'm wary of bands that I know have a history of sounding bad on stage (one of the biggest reasons I didn't go to the MWT show was because of Hoobastank and P.O.D.).
Main Stage: -Linkin Park -Breaking Benjamin -Billy Talent -My Chemical Romance -Cypress Hill Second Stage: New rap rock (good) bands...
What about Rage Against the Machine? They recently got back together and without them LP probably wouldn't exist.
Somebody said Three Days Grace might go, but I think they are going to edgefest, so hopefully there will be some good bands joining the bill soon. And Korn is geting Evanescence on Family Values...so what's left? The Cure, Smashing Pumpkins? idk Rage would a good idea whoever said that, that would be cool...hmmmm What about Papa Roach? Cypress Hill would be good, they are fun live... I can't really put my prefered line up on here, because we know thats not happening...but anyways this is what it would be...lol Linkin Park Korn Staind Godsmack DMX Deftones Mudvayne Flyleaf Taproot Lo-Pro
I could NEVER see RHCP playing BEFORE Linkin Park. Hey, I know this is the LPA, but you have to respect order. Same with the RATM post above me. Heh... this one would be just silly. Main Stage: Linkin Park Fort Minor Snow White Tan My Chemical Romance The Black Parade I really don't have a line-up in mind, I just thought that'd be amusing.
Linkin Park My Chemical Romance Red Hot Chili Peppers Placebo U2 Muse Interpol Franz Ferdinand The Killers Fort Minor Holly Brook That, to me, would be a godly line-up.
Linkin Park Breaking Benjamin Incubus Red Hot chili Peppers Muse Chevelle 10 Years (Would probably be second stage) Deftones
Main Stage: Nine Inch Nails Linkin Park The Offspring Coldplay Lostprophets Placebo Billy Talent Second Stage: Fort Minor Lupe Fiasco
