Ozzfest 2007

Right now rumored to play this year's is Alice In Chains, HELLYEAH, Black Label Society, and Killswitch Engage. Here's hoping so, because that would be pretty awesome. Went in 2005, and it completely drained me. Them going to an indoor arena thing like Unholy Alliance or something along the lines of that, that would be fine by me...plus here's hoping ticket sales go down even though it's a silm possibilty.

 

Ha. Should've been up in MA for last years. That one drained me. A little over 100 degrees and humid as hell. That was horrible, but damn it was a good one. And Killswitch? I know I'm not gonna be in the crowd for that one.

 

Alice In Chains, that sounds interesting.

If Alice in Chains headlines Ozzfest then it definitely be the first one I ever attend no matter what, hopefully no Killswitch though.

I don't really care for Alice In Chains, so the rest of that lineup had better be really damn good for me to go.

 

Black Label Society not being at Ozzfest would just be weird.

 

It's happened before...in 2004 I believe. But yeah, it is weird if that happened. Sure when I saw them, couldn't hear a damn thing Zakk was saying but it sounded orgasmic

 

Then that means that 2004's Ozzfest was weird.

So how come we're being so hard on Killswitch? I dont get what people have against them.

 

Only one person dissed Killswitch and they've been here for a few days.

And to be honest going to Ozzfest for free would be awesome but I'd still much rather go to download.

 

I never really got into the whole metalcore thing. I wouldn't hate seeing their show or anything though.

 

So this year will be free, thats pretty awesome for Ozzy to do for the fans. I think I'm going to go just because I've never really seen a good metal show (except Thrice but the metalheads wouldn't call them metal or metalcore because they aren't Metallica)

Exactly. I almost got killed while Killswitch was playing. And my friend who's 6'3 a lil over 300lbs got knocked over three times.

 

Killswitch has pits? that's almost as ridonkulous as people dying while CROWDSURFING at a PEARL JAM concert.
