Linkin Park Confirmed For Download Festival

    According to Kerrang! Radio, "sources" say Linkin Park will be one of many headliners at the Download 2007 Festival at Donington Park in England. The festival takes place from Friday, June 8th to Sunday, June 10th. According to these "sources", Linkin Park are set to play on Saturday, the 9th. A lineup for the festival is to be announced tonight at 12:00am GMT on the Download 2007 Festival website.

    Other rumoured headliners include My Chemical Romance (June 8th), Iron Maiden (June 10th), and others such as Evanescence, Slayer, Megadeth, Motley Crue, Fall Out Boy, Wolfmother, and Marilyn Manson.

    Update, 3:30PM EST: Linkin Park are officially confirmed to play the festival on Saturday, June 9th.

    Wow, that would be awesome. Not so sure I'd make it to the festival but this could potentially result in Linkin Park playing shows in England around the date announced for Download.

    Well I just realised this is bad news to me. This means they will do a Europian tour probably in June, and that's when I'm taking my fucking exams...

    "Leaving no doubt that the fifth Download Festival will be more exciting than ever, the three headliners for Friday, Saturday and Sunday respectively are confirmed as MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE, LINKIN PARK and IRON MAIDEN"

    omg.. I'm so excited now..
    all these concerts headlining Linkin Park.. wooohoo!!

    the only thing that keeps sucking is that we don't have any news about the album title *sad face*... but oh well... the concerts make me happy anyways!

    ahh anyways.. I'm already bored by these dates releseases.. seriously.. now they want to change it to Summer??.. fans are getting mad already and after all the interviews and stuff we have got, I'm 100% sure it is in Spring...

    but ohh who knows, anywways, I wouldn't be surprised at all if they decide to delay it again.... >_<

    Its around the end of spring/beginning of summer. If the single comes out in March like lpu said, then the album will come out late April/early May. I think :lol: Or else late May/early June.
