In association with MobiTV, an Emmy award-winning service which combines television, film, and music content, Warner Music Group artists including Linkin Park are set to develop their own television programming. The artists are to go "behind the camera and direct original video programming to populate their personally branded MobiTV channels" says a current press release. Such stations will feature "original video filmed by and featuring artists, as well as music videos from the expansive WMG catalogue". MobiTV will launch in February on the four WMG music channels: hip-hop, pop, rock & metal, and alternative. Learn more about MobiTV here
I don't know. It seems like a, well, weird idea if you ask me. What exactly are the band going to do? Obviously, they aren't going to run their own actual station. More than anything else it seems like a marketing ploy by WMG, but hey, if it works, it works.
I know.. I agree with you.. They are just going to show around how do they work??.. what??.. we know that already, and does this apply to LPTV?.., I thought they had something different planned for LPTV.. What that heck.. I'm so confused.. Oh! thet'll probably spend all the time making jokes and playing around as usual... cool... I guuuuueeeessssssss..
