    Or a Zune.

EDIT : I am a Zune owner. It's only flaw is the software. I assume updates will be made for it though.

    *bursts out laughing*

I think you misheard. The Zune is a complete copy of the iPod.

Haha I realize that. I meant in terms of screen size, wireless compatability, and built-in radio.

Haha I'll just give up. I just love and prefer my Zune eventhough an iPod may be superior.

The wireless on the Zune is a complete failure.

When everyone first heard about it, we got excited because we thought it'd allow us to transfer our songs from our computer wireless, not send samples (or was it full songs with limits? ... something to do with DRM) to other Zunes. HUUUGE letdown.

But with the Zen, I don't need "Zune to Zune" crap, or iTunes. Sure, my thing has it's problems with adding some video onto my player, but for the most part, it's the greatest thing ever. Fuck iPod.

I don't need iTunes either. Winamp can upload to the iPod, even foobar. Probably WMP too.

I don't understand the desire to transfer files with your desktop wirelessly.

The letdown to me is the way they restrict the wireless song transfers. If I remember, if you send a song/recieve a song, you can listen to it once a day for 3 days. That was the stupidest thing I ever heard but the wireless feature doesn't affect my use of it at all. I doubt I'll ever use it.

I like my 60GB iPod video. I accidentally had it completely submerged under water for a quick second before I got it out and somehow it managed to restore itself perfectly. I have no problems with it whatsoever.

If I had the money to waste, I'd take my Zen Micro and a Zune and submerge them quickly to see if I can get the same result.

Makes things easier, and less cables. *shrug* It's a cabless world these days... I mean, you can do it with your cell phone; bluetooth.

I think it's only if the song has DRM, I can't remember the issue on that though.

    Nope, not at all.

I was replacing my screen, and unknowningly took out the battery ribbon cable wrong. Just because of one little fuckup, I need to toss another $100 (approx, incl s&h, from ebay). /idiot

    Ouch.

That reminds me, I need to replace my screen soon. Hopefully without breaking the rest of my iPod.

Yeah, I completely totaled my screen. Just be cautious when you're removing the battery ribbon cable -- only PART of the connector comes off, not all. I didn't notice the little inset where it divides, so I pulled it right from the board. *shakes head*

Oh fuck, I almost thought it was 1AM. I was looking at my friend's computer's clock instead of my own computer's clock. Remote controlling ftw. >_<

edit: Finally done Bryan's computer, holy fuck.
Although, what I hate about fixing computers is that it puts me into this weird train of thought where I plan exactly everything I need to do out, and think of all possibilities. Freaks me out sometimes.

Agreed. I've seen (and got into) so many of those while wardriving. Actually, the one by my dad's shop is the ever so popular 521.

Anyways, I'm done with my repair/cleanup finally (shocking). I'm off to sleep. *yawn*

@Smashpilot: I have a D-link router and it sucks as well. I have to keep unplugging it and plugging it back in to get it to work >_< We were told it's the best one, yeah right
