    I literally screamed (in a bad way) when I heard this.

    It's just not right to lose such a big music legend. James Brown tore down so many racial boundaries and was just an amazing performer.

    What a bummer.

    He was a legend. You didn't even have to listen to his music to appreciate his musical ability. He'll be greatly missed.

    They're having his memorial service at the Apollo Theatre in New York, how awesome is that? Really fitting too, it was the only place in NYC that let black people play music for a long time.
