Anyone pick up the album yet? If so, whats your opinion on it edit: whoops, i just realized i put this in the wrong section. will one of the mods kindly move it
I just got it today, and so far I'm sad to say I'm actually pretty disappointed with the last cd I'd been waiting to buy this year. I love Incubus, Morning View is one of my top 5 albums ever. This album just seems to be missing something. The rocking songs don't rock like they used to, and the softer songs all sound the same, minus Love Hurts, which is amazingly catchy. Hopefully it will grow on me.
I think the album is incredible. Personally, I think it's their best album since Morning View. My favorite songs are "Dig", "A Kiss To Send Us Off", and "Diamonds & Coal".
Its a pretty decent album. Not the best they have ever made, but a good album. My favorite track has to be 'Love Hurts' and then followed by 'Dig'.
Personally, I think Morning View was their worst CD and it wasn't even a bad CD. This CD, however, is near the top of the list for me. I can't skip a track when I listen to it because every track seems so well written to me. It's not as "out there" as a lot of their previous works but it is brilliantly crafted.
I think it's their most complete album yet. I like all of the songs and love most of them ("Love Hurts", "Rogues", "A Kiss To Send Us Off", "Dig", "Anna Molly", "Paper Shoes", "Pendulums"). Miles ahead of 'A Crow Left of a Murder'.
