I didn't win the stupid contest!!!! I was second! i couldn't complete the final dare... which was eating 5 bowls of spices (cinnamon powder,saffron powder , curry powder,tumeric, and something else i don't know), and drinking a cup of olive oil! i choked! damn stupid idiotic arrgh! i'm in a bad mood now... the entire event was really cool tho..i surprised myself that i made it to the final two! i won't bother to go on about the details... just thought i'd let you know.... THANKS to everyone who supported me this far!! i really appreciate it!!! =) now i don't get to go to LA and see 'em...

It was a contest to go see linkin park live at one of the summer sanitorium shows... we had to complete a series of dares, a bit like fear factor yeah, i actually surprised myself i got so far! but. i wanted to win so bad! i broke down backstage after the contest! LINKIN PARK LIVE IN LA!!!! PLUS $ 1000 spending cash!!!!!! I didn't win!!

i know this sounds cheesy (and cliche) but it's not whether you win or lose, it's how you play the game. sounds like you played really well, considering you got so far!
Yeah, I got a big fat sh*tload of NOTHING for getting second! HAahaa, no just kidding. I got what all the other losers (okay, okay, other finalists) got, the Meterora cd (which I have.. this is such a d-uh prize), the somewhere i belong and faint singles (which I like! hehe), and that's pretty much it on the LP front. I also got some mtv merchandise, but nothing special, it was a winner take all sorta thing... I DID however manage to persuade them to give me a poster.. which i also have already, but this one was framed and all, and since framing is expensive.. i thought... why not? Ya know? hehehe. but not much else.. hehe but i'm pretty surprised i made it that far... before the contest i was thinking.. Wouldn't it be terrible if you're out in the first round?? Like, all hope dashed off so fast! But then again, when you get to second and can almost taste it, then lose..... man that hurt!!! Like they say the higher you are the harder you fall! But that guy really kicked my ass in the last challenge so kudos to him....
