Actually, no one is on the LPA, deviantART, AIM, or MSN. I virus must have struck every computer on earth but mine and yours, LOL. Or maybe there was a nuclear war and everyone died but we were too busy surfing the internet to notice...

I wouldn't know to hate Norton because it's all I've ever used.

And I don't give out where I live to people on the internet. *shifty eyes*

lol, this is the first forum i have ever joined but i do spend alot of time online cause im always at a computer. My machine has been running online for last month without being shut down at all, thats like really bad

 

I shut my computer down at night because the hard drive and green power lights keep me up, and I don't leave it on while I'm at school because it has a history of overheating very easily. But other than that it's on all the time...

 

this thing is knackered anyway, u get wot u py for i suppose. I live on campus so i have tech support in case it breaks, thou saying that in theory i should be able to fix it, lol

 

I'm fairly good with computers, actually. I mean, I couldn't go into the tech support forum and answer everyone's questions, but if my laptop had a problem I would figure out how to fix it. But if my computer is going to overheat and shut down, then I might as well have it off in the first place.

 

well yeah that does make sense, im learning software aspects of things, i could answer some tech forum questions but not all that great really. I can program some stuff

 

I'm the other way around, then, I'm better with software than I am with hardware. But after my CD/DVD drive actually fell out of the computer, and my hard drive got broken and I had to fix it, and all this other crap, I know a bit (a very small insignificant bit) about hardware.

I don't even treat my computer that rough for it too start falling apart like it is, it's just a Dell and that's why it's broken.

 

i could build a computer ffrom scratch, could work as an it technician, i did for my work experiance when i was at school. Im trying to be a techy at my uni but u have to be a second year

 

Well, I think I'm doing pretty good for someone who's only been using computers for two years.

 

sounds like it to me, ive been using computers for years but only really been using them properly for 3 years, i have two qualifactions, im enjoying my currrent course, hopefully end up working in america fingers crossed

yeah, deff small, i think iwas online last night t one point when there was only like 3 people online in total nd not that many guests either
