Bullet for my Valentine Present LIVE AT BRIXTON ACADEMY DVD – OCTOBER 30TH ‘The best British metal band to emerge in years’ - Q Magazine Bullet For My Valentine “The Poison - Live At Brixton” is finally now ready for release from the 30th October. It was one of the first ‘were you actually there’ live moments of 2006, an amazing start to an amazing year for Bullet for my Valentine, headlining the Kerrang XXV Tour and playing the sold out show to over 4,000 people at London’s legendary Brixton Academy on January 28, 2006!!! In addition to the outstanding show filmed with over 15 cameras all over the Academy, there is over an hour of bonus material including the band’s videos so far, EPKs and documentaries edited to songs from both The Poison and the Hand Of Blood EP, plus a behind the scenes look at the band performing at the Download Festival and the Metal Hammer Awards in the UK this summer. There are also 8 mini episodes, which form part of Bullet TV and were edited from footage shot by the band themselves over the last 12 months on the road. As well as all that, there are lyrics to all tracks performed at Brixton Academy, and a photo gallery from the show…………Phew, I think that’s everything!!! The audio was mixed by the legendary Colin Richardson (producer of The Poison, along with work by Funeral for a Friend, Machine Head and Cradle of Filth amongst others) and mastered in both stereo and 5.1 by Ted Jensen (Metallica), and it both looks and sounds HUGE!!!! Full details of the DVD, live track listings and all the extras are listed below. Look out for the guys on the road in November and December on their final UK headline tour in support of The Poison, finishing up at the Hammersmith Apollo in London. These dates of course follow on from a summer of touring with Guns and Roses, Metallica, Korn and October 06 US dates with Iron Maiden, as well as their own sold out US tour and some massive European shows. I can't wait for this to come out. I had the chance to see Bullet for My Valentine when they came to Cleveland on Warped Tour and they didn't disappoint at all. I think they're probably the best band I've seen live out of the 50-60 bands I've seen.
I'm going to see them live at the Hammersmith Apollo on november 28th which should be pretty cool. The DVD sounds pretty sweet too, I may have to purchase that also.
Getting this for sure, I love BFMV. Seen them twice live, the time they opened for Funeral for a Friend they played Funeral off the stage.
I shall be seeing them for a second time next month, can't fucking wait. Can't wait for this DVD either, I shall definantly be buying it. They need some new material though, imo. Hopefully we'll hear some at the upcoming gigs.
Im so waiting for this dvd it ll kick ass!!! I've already seen them 3 times this year and they rock!! Btw feel free to join our street team if you want www.bfmvstreetteam.com
I love it, the concert rocks and the extra material is funny and cool but I guess that you have to be a fand to like this. The only problem with it is the lights during the concert, too much red light IMO
