With the upcoming The Fall of Troy release coming soon, and more info and media surfacing around it, I fell the need to make this to keep everyone updated on a excellent band. Please note, if you come to bitch about the screaming, you will be destroyed. So here it goes... THE FALL OF TROY Forming in Mukilteo, Washington, just north of Seattle, The Fall of Troy is everything you wish your band was. Young, faster, louder, and well... better looking. At the young age of 17, The Fall of Troy released there self titled debut on Lujo Records. After that, at the age of 19, the band release Doppelganger, there Equal Visions Records debut and toured around North America and Europe non-stop from August 2005 to July of 2006. There live shows are, well, At The Drive-In meets King Crimson, except with less improve, and less acid. There next record, which is yet to be titled, will be released in early 2007. New album?! When?! Where?! If they come anywhere in Ohio, I've already got two friends who've fallen in love with them since I've shown Fall of Troy to them, and we're going to go see them. I can't wait.
New album should be ready by December of 06 to early 07. I'm really excited for it. Oh, and to anyone wondering, there split with The Number 12 Looks Like You has been put on hold for now.
Why is he screaming? Hard rock with screaming sucks. All jokes aside, Fall of troy are seriously everything you wish your band was. They're amazing. Act one, scene one and we better learn how to hotwire a uterus are amazing.
some people talked to geoff of thursday on there recent tour with circa survive and rise against. there are some plans for spring tour with the fall of troy. these are just talks though, but the fall of troy did have talks with tera melos and they toured. so don't rule this one out. the band is also going to be in alternative press magazine.
That would seriously be the best concert ever. Except rise against. Give it all is alright. But, I would seriously go to the closest show.
Sounds great, I didn't know they were going to release a new album but now I can't wait to hear their new stuff.
The new album will be called Manipulator. Thomas has posted new lyrics for a song called Sledgehammer. The band will also be premiering a new song (well, a live early version of it) called Seattlantis in the next few days. It was recorded when they played at XFM studios on there last trip to England. So be sure to keep your eyes and ears peeled. Matt Bayles (former member of Minus The Bear, produced the bands Botch, Mastadon, Norma Jean, Pearl Jam, Isis, and Soundgarden) will be producing the new album. Expect a release sometime in March. A full US tour for January / Feburary is all being planned.
