Who here is a fan of the Industrial Rock genre?

Alot of the bands I'm into are classified as Industrial, bands like Nine Inch Nails are also considered to be a part of the Industrial genre so I expect many will have them on their list

Anyway here's a list of my favorite Industrial Rock bands:

    Mortiis
    Rammstein
    DEATHSTARS
    Marilyn Manson
    Lordi

Deathstars, disgust me. I don't know, I just can't take them seriously.

But I'm quite a big fan of the majority of industrial bands.

Nine Inch Nails (My University student-run newspaper called NIN "metal" today in a crossword clue. I felt like throwing up all over the stand.)

    Also;
    KMFDM
    MDFMK
    Rammstein

I like some Industrial. Basically the well known Industrial bands,

Rammstein being my favorite, followed by NIN, and Marilyn Manson.

Edit: And stabbing Westward. It's been a while since i listened to them, but esaul's post below mine reminded me of them.

I don't consider NIN to be industrial.

    * I partially agree with Casey, but if NIN isn't Industrial, what is it?

NiN is something else, undefinable. Alternative Industrial, maybe?

Ministry for 'real' industrial, but I also love NIN and Strapping Young Lad (I don't hear it in them, but they have been called Industrial Metal).

I personally believe NIN has always been alternative rock. The only time they've come close to industrial is on the "Broken" EP, and some tracks on "The Downward Spiral".

If you think they're industrial, may I point you to "Pretty Hate Machine", "The Fragile", and "With Teeth".

I thought that 'With Teeth' had alot of industrial elements.

Pretty Hate Machine is Synth Pop, not Alternative Rock.
