and iTunes 7 was released, with all kinds of fancy new features, such as downloadable movies and games, free album artwork and CoverFlow, which I haven't been able to check out yet, but looks neat. I'll be ordering an 80GB iPod tonight when I get home from work.
I know. It's as big as the harddrive in my computer. I don't think I'll need that much space, but I want more than 30GB, so I might as well.
yeah. i'm debating it now. saleing my 30 gig and getting the 80. I'll pobably get the new shuffle. Mainly because it's small and easy to carry around. I need to catch up on my podcasts and since i'm in college now it'd be really handy.
I already broke the 90GB barrier, Apple's waaaay too slow. Branden, might want to add something about codename iTV. http://www.gizmodo.com/gadgets/tag/apple-itv-200138.php
This whole thing kind of annoys me as an iPod owner. I shell out my hard-earned cash to get an iPod video. Now they shove in my face a new iPod video that doesn't have a cruddy batty life like the original. Gaarhg
Actually, more specifically, welcome to the world of Apple. Any electronic thing you buy will be obsolete within a month.
Fuck iTunes 7.0 I suddenly can't add mass amounts of music files to it due to iTunes checking something about playback on every fucking file I add. So adding discographies for artists/bands just got harder for me. Ugh.
yeah, the gapless playback stuff takes forever. it'll be cool for concept albums and albums with smooth transitions though. at least on the ipod.
