I'm going to have to give you a warning for using homophobic language. Please review the rules and refrain from doing it again. Thank you. :)

    a. call apple support
    b. it could be a problem with the harddrive, if you're off warranty, either:
.. 1. throw it against the wall (proven to work, oddly).
.. 2. take it apart, unplug the hdd, plug it back in.
    c. buy a new ipod, and keep the old as a souvenir, or sell it.

What's it doing. Try doing it on a friend's computer with your cable, then another cable. I had a cable for my ipod that broke, and you really had to try to get it to work, and now it works flawlessly, so it could be the cable...they're really finicky.

I wouldn't recommend throwing it against the wall. A slight beating with your hand on the side of the iPod can usually do that trick.

Open it up and check the hard drive. Maybe that little lever is off of it? Or maybe your battery just died completely now?

Hold the middle button and the menu button. That usually reset's it. If that doesn't work then go with what the other guys are saying and check to see if the hard drive is still plugged in.
