Hope you're all enjoying our construction.

Just wanted to write you all a note to let you know how things are going in the studio.

So far we've written over one hundred songs.

We now have the challenge of narrowing our focus. Over the next few months we'll work tirelessly on the best of the best.

That is all I'm allowed to say.

It nothing major, but atleast it's something. Kindof secretive too, now that I read it more. But I believe once we actually get an album title, we'll (obviously) be closer to a release date, or a single.

 

Just as long as they don't rewrite choruses 30 times.

 

They should release them all. >_>

It's good to see Chester get into acting, I always kinda figured he'd be a good actor.

 

It's probably a very small part that won't amount to much. I searched it on imdb.com and he's not even credited.

 

I guess its just a 10 second thing. It looks like he'll be in an argument with the guy.

 

Looks like a good movie that I'd probably see in theatres and Chester being in it just makes it cooler. Storyline sounds really good.

Mike Shinoda recently confirmed that "Remember The Name" will be the next single off the album The Rising Tied.

From the Fort Minor Militia Newsletter:

 

Uhhh, this already happened a while back.

 

Yes I know, but i think mike is re-releasing this as their next single because when it was first released it didn't get as much exposure as the group would of liked and now that fort minor is more well known among the masses, mike wants to give this single a second try and to give SOB a chance to shine on a rap record that's straight up rap. Go to the fort minor forums or militia or read the newsletter, this is confirmed and official.

 

If Mike wanted to give SOB some exposure, he should've released "Right Now", "Red To Black", or "Feel Like Home" as a single. I'm really dissapointed in Mike for re-releasing RTN as a single.
