There was a topic like this a long ways back. I've decided to bring it back, and ask you all: Who is your favorite comedian? Or, who are your favorite comedians? At the moment, my favorite is Eddie Izzard. The material he comes up with is absolutely genius. Among my favorite comedians, there is Dane Cook, Mitch Hedberg, Robin Williams, and Jerry Seinfeld. Most of you are familiar with Dane Cook's comedy. Mitch Hedberg (as Mark and I know) is a legend, who unfortunately passed away some time ago at age 37. So, who is your favorite? Or who are your favorites?
Some Dutch ones that you guys dont know Mostly Hans Teeuwen because he makes of fun everything. Disabled people, religion, our queen.
Ron White, who does the Blue Collar Comedy Tour. He's the only one I can stand out of the other guys that are in it. Of course, Dane Cook and others such as Adam Sandler, Dave Chappelle and Gary Owen (Hilarious, imo).
These are my favorite ones: Lenny Henry Dave Chapelle Adam Sandler Jasper Carrot Jamie Foxx Stephen Lawrence Chris Tucker Chris Rock Sean William Scott Aston Kutcher Lee Evens Jonathan Ross
Christopher Titus I was raised by the anti-Dad, I'm a insult Navy Seal. But she took everything. She even took the c-word. I KNOW! I thought, man, this women is crazy.... she's perfect.
Dane Cook Lewis Black Ron White Carlos Mencia Dave Chapelle Larry the Cable Guy Chris Rock Percy Crews II Jeff Foxworthy Anthony Acosta
Not a huge comedy nut but of the ones I've seen I enjoy: Robin Williams Dane Cook Mitch Hedburg Bill Hicks Dave Chappelle Jerry Seinfeld Chris Rock (his facial expressions are hilarious!) George Carlin Jeff Foxworthy
Are we talking comedy actors here or stand up type stuff? For stand up i'd have to say Peter Kay and Bill Bailey. Not sure about athe comdy actors. I'll get back to you on that one
For me, it has god to be Ross Nobel hands down. Most of you outside of England probably won't know who he is, but he is literaly most random guy EVER. I've seen him live aswell, i have literaly never laughed so hard in my life. He's a legend. Too underrated.
Mitch Hedberg is godly. And I'm glad to say I loved him before he died. Not that it makes me any more of a fan than anyone, it's just nice to have known about him beforehand. "I think Pringles' original intention was to make tennis balls. Then, on the day that the rubber was supposed to show up, a big truckload of potatoes arrived. But Pringles is a laid-back company. They said, 'Fuck it. Cut 'em up!'." "I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside. 'Run. He's fuzzy. Get outta here.'." http://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Mitch_Hedberg Dane Cook is pretty good too, but I recently listened to audio comparing him to another comedian named Louis CK, and it sounds like alot of his material is lifted. Or just a coincidence. But either way, Dane's funnier. http://www.redban.com/audio/danesteals.mp3 Jerry Seinfeld, Dave Chappelle, and Russell Peters are great, too.
dane cook ron white jamie foxx greg geraldo pablo francisco lewis black denis leary carlos mencia robin williams chris titus :]
I thoroughly enjoyed Mitch Hedberg before and after he died. I love Dane Cook and that one dude who always has whiskey and is smoking on Blue Collar TV. I forget his name.
People like Dane Cook because he is attractive. The same comedy coming from an average/ugly guy would be an unsuccessful act in my opinion. He has some really funny stuff, but I'm one of the many who believe he steals half his material. Mich Hedburg was amazing. There aren't many people who can make you want to die of laughter over and over again with just 1-2 liners. Greg Giraldo is the master of delivery and timing. I think he may be the funniest comedian out there. He doesn't need a gimmick or over-the-top physical displays. You don't even have to watch him, you can listen to him and die of laughter. So smart. Lewis Black and George Carlin are favorites too, I love angry observation type comics. Jerry Seinfeld is funny... if you're a white person living in New York City. And I'm not. Jimmy Carr is hilarious. He's the only 'I'm not from America, I hate you" comedian that I can stand. I love how he makes fun of the audience as he does his routine. Stephen Lynch is amazing. He could be a famous singer songwriter, be he kindof wastes his singing, guitar, and writing talents on comedy, which makes him even funnier. 'Then She Farted' is laugh-till-you-cry funny. Dave Attell is my favorite comic though. Maybe not THE funniest, but he's top 3 in my book, and he had the best TV show ever on top of it. ...Sorry. Love comedy.
