That sucks a lot! I only know of one flood that happened in my area, after a whole weekend of rain during the May long weekend (Victoria Day for us in Canada) a local river flooded a town near us. That day, my friend called me and he's like "wanna bike to Coldwater and see the flood?" and I'm like "ok", thinking it was only one little area effected. By the time we were in the river valley we had to cross a flooded section of road much like his "picture 3" with a fast current and everything lol. A car was ditched in the middle of the road too. It took me a while to go across but once I got wet it was fine. We saw people canoeing in the farmer's field beside the road, very comical. Then we were downtown and the whole mainstreet was flooded with two feet of water, i was pedaling my bike under water! So yeah we see where the water took out a bridge and it was flowing through a house on the riverside. A very wet but fun weekend...unfortunately not so much for the people effected. My thoughts to those who've had losses from the floods.
