Yeah, Collision course kinda did suck, but Numb/Encore was pretty good (it won a Grammy) and Lying from you/Dirt off your shoulder was OK. The rest were'nt that good.
I dont think it would be good for the group to do something with him, but i would like to see SHINODA and EMINEM. EM's done songs with guys such as kid rock, fred durst (fuck him), and the gorillaz. so why not SHINODA...that would be tight!!
why does everyone hate "collision course"? we got all these people in here who are against the rap factor of LP's music ...
I'm not against it, i just didnt like to have someone mess up there songs/lyrics with some cRap, sry if u got mad or anything. Don't get me wrong, there song Nobody's Listening is good. Didn't they take that beat from a old cRap song? I forgot if one of the notes on the booklet you get with Meteora was on that song or Figure .09.
It was Nobody's Listening, It was Japanese flutes. They wanted to make a heavy song with a hip-hop bounce or something like that.
probably SOAD, maybe even Disturbed. or better yet, Korn. with rap, like they did with Jay-Z: either the Game or the Ying Yang Twins.
Hmmm, I'd say Thrice, SOAD, NIN, Street Drum Corps, RHCP, or Tool. SDC and the Chilis could add a grove, NIN could add to the electronic feel, and the rest could make them a little bit heavier.
That would be amazing but with their singer too. I would like to see them preform with Deftones' Chino Moreno or maybe even Stephen Carpenter. That would sound nice, Brad doing what Chino normally does on guitar with Stephen playing lead. (Another collaboration isn't nessecary for me, just a preformance or something.)
Jonathan Davis' voice was mixed into the remix of "One Step Closer" ("1STP KLOSR"), but that doesn't really count as working with them...
Here are a few bands/artists that I think would sound good with Linkin Park: - Evanescence I think that Amy Lee would sound absolutely amazing with Chester. And it would make the music sound so much darker. It would be sweet! - Audioslave I think that the instruments would give Linkin Park a more old school rock feel, which could either sound really good or really bad. Also, Chris Cornell would sound great with Chester and Mike! - Panic! At The Disco I think that the whole nolstalgic/vaudeville thing that Panic! has going on would sound really unique when coupled with Linkin Parks sound. It would sound wierd, which could be good or bad depending on how its done. - Coldplay I just think that the singers voice would sound great with Chester and Mike! - Holly Brook We already know that she sounds great with Mike, but I think that she would sound even better with Chester! - Thornley I think that Ian Thornley's voice is amazing, and I think it would compliment Chesters singing and Mikes rapping very well. So, those are my choices!
Whoah, I can't imagine Panic! at the Disco, that would sound so... odd. Like I Write Sins Not Tragedies and Papercut, imagine how weird that would sound 0_o
Lacuna coil Cristina Scabbia..... Would like to se Chester doing a Duet with Cristina on the "Enjoy the Silence"... i think that the song is pretty well suited for LP..
Gorgoroth.... seriously, I think Evanesence(Amy Lee) would sound great. I think Trent Reznor would make for an interesting combination aswell.
Once, twice, THRICE! Vheissu stylee with LP's more melodic electronic experimental side. That would be amazing.
Thrice is so completely different from Linkin Park, yet eerily similar (especially on Vheissu) I think that would sound good. And apparently, Mike Shinoda likes Thrice (nominated them for that award [I can't believe it but I can't remember what award him and Chester are on the judges panel for. It was the Pantheon Awards or something like that] and "Atlantic" was on that iTunes list of his favorite songs) so it's possible that they might actually decide to work together at some point.
